A short visit, hosted by the Norwegians who dumped me in the wrong part of the airfield to board the Ukrainan UN flight to Sarajevo (I wonder who I upset)! What followed was an interesting 'plan B' involving a 4* hotel in Vienna with a bit of UN 'plastic' and the pleasure of my first bath in 4 months; followed by an uncomfortable 8 hour armoured convoy journey from Banja Luka, after an abortive Blackhawk helicopter flight with the pilot unable to find a 'hole' in the mountain fog blanketing Sarejevo. An otherwise normal week in the Balkans!
