Впечатлений - сверх меры! Город как на картинке! Больше всего мне понравилась охрана Королевского дворца - форма необычная и они совсем не строгие. Снег убирали со ступенек. Прикольно. А какие дома, Ратуша... Надо отдать должное, шведы берегут свою культуру. Но вот мостовая добила мои каблуки. Видно шведки не носят модельную обувь.

A trip to Stockholm was a special point in my life, it was my great dream, I've allways dreamt of Scandinavian countries. Stockholm was fantastic, it is indeed as they call it Northen Venice, with a great number of different bridges and just unique architecture. Swedish people are great, very friendly and sincere, and very helpful. All of them speak English, which makes it easy for a traveller to talk to them or ask for help. The city is situated on 14 islands, and there are a number of bridges connecting them with each other, so there's water everywhere in the city, and there's this special fresh sea air. Well, it was was just like a faity-tale for me to be there, and of course I'm looking forward to going there again

I went there for five days to visit a good friend of mine who spent a semester abroad at the Hogskolan in Trollhättan. The city itself is relatively boring. Not much to see besides the Saab plant (which has been closed down since, from what I heard) and the seaport. But the landscape around the city is very nice for hiking, and of course it's close to Lake Vänern, the largest lake in Sweden and third-largest lake in all of Europe.
